Maalasin Myyn akryylimaaleilla. Oli kyllä aikamoista näpertämistä. Yrityksistä huolimatta nenäriepu ei millään mahtunut kasvoihin Mutta sehän on vaan nenä. Pohjalakkana käytin O.P.I:n I Just Can't Cope-acabanaa, joka on täydellinen pehmeän keltainen creme.
That's my favourite comment from Little My, the tiny rascal from The Moomins, a series of comic strips and books originally created by Tove Jansson. It's about hippo-looking characters called The Moomins and about their friends, Little My being one of them. It's hugely popular in Nordic countries and Japan. There's also a very popular anime show based on it along with movies, musicals, ice shows, a theme park in Finland, Moomin cafes and of course all kinds of Moomin-themed items. My nails are based on one of the Moomin mugs that Arabia (a Finnish ceramics company) makes. Many Finnish people collect them and the rarest ones sell for over 1000 €. Pretty crazy, huh!
I painted Little My with acrylic paint. She should have a a nose but I just couldn't make it fit in the tiny painting. The yellow polish is O.P.I's I Just Can't Cope-acabana. I really liked this manicure and I was actually going to make a Moomin theme week but after making this manicure I started wondering if I'm breaking the copyright law. So I guess better not make that theme week after all. :)
Are you familiar with the Moomin series?
