Vaaleanpunainen ombre

Hupsista, tulin pitäneeksi pienen tauon blogista. Tässä kuumuudessa ei hirveästi ole tehnyt mieli tehdä muuta kuin maata lattialla ja kuolata. Mutta siihenkään mulla ei ole hirveästi ollut aikaa, koska olen nyt jokseenkin kiireinen, sillä muutan ens kuukauden alkupuolella toiselle paikkakunnalle. Blogi saattaa siis olla vähän vähemmällä huomiolla kunnes saan kaikki miljoona asiaani järjestettyä.

Eniveis, tässä nyt kuitenkin olisi viikon parin takaiset kynnet. Mun piti saada kynsille nopeasti jotain kivaa ja päädyin tekemään ombremanikyyrin. Väriksi valikoitui vaaleanpunainen, koska mulla on sitä väriä enemmän kuin kehtaan myöntää. Vihreä ja sininenkin kävivät mielessä, mutta mulla ei ollut tarpeeksi sopivia cremejä niihin. Sen siitä saa, kun on tämmöinen hileharakka. Mutta tykkäsin kyllä tosi paljon tästä pinkistä versiosta. Ihanan herkullisia karkkivärejä.

Lakkasin kynnet yöllä silmät ristissä, joten en enää oikein muista, montako kerrosta mitäkin lakkaa tuli. Vaaleita taisi mennä sen kolme kerrosta ja tummia kaksi. Voisi sanoa, että levittyvyyden tuska-aste kipusi sitä korkeammalle, mitä vaaleampaan mentiin, mikä on kai ihan odotettavaa. Color Clubin Blushing Rose, eli kaikista vaalein lakka, on edelleen sen verran erityinen tapaus, että sen kohdalla kipudiagrammia saa jatkaa vielä pöytään asti. Se alkaa kyllä muutenkin jo vedellä viimeisiään.

Etusormen ja peukun lakoista pidän eniten, koska olen ihan heikkona vadelmanpunaisiin cremeihin. Lisäksi lakoissa oli erinomainen koostumus. Keskisormen ja nimettömän lakoista pidän myös kovasti. Mikä näistä lakoista on teidän mielestänne nätein?

Oops, I took a little unplanned break from the blog. It's been so hot (+30 C) that I haven't felt like doing anything else except lie on the floor and drool. But unfortunately I didn't have much time for that because I will be moving in the beginning of next month so I've been somewhat busy. The blog might be a bit more quiet for a couple of weeks until I get all things sorted out.

Anyway, the nails. I didn't have much time and needed (read: wanted) to have something on my nails. I decided to do an ombremanicure because they're not that time consuming and still look nice. Or well, the amount of time you need depends on the quality of polish you use. I chose the colour pink because I have more pink polishes than I would care to admit. I did consider green and blue too but I didn't have enough suitable creme shades.

I can't remember that well how many coats each polish needed but I guess I could say the lighter shades took three coats for full coverage and the darker two. The lighter the shade the more painful it was to apply. That's how it usually goes, so no surprises there.

I think this was a nice manicure. Not that special but I enjoyed wearing it anyway. My favourite polishes of these five were the two darkest shades because I love raspberry coloured cremes and jellies. They were great qualitywise too. I like the other polishes too, except the lightest one on my pinky because its formula is terrible. It's a nice shade though.
